Course Overview
This course is a foundation or up-skilling program that reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing. Work involves using discretion and judgment in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.
Students will learn a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person - centered support and empowerment of older people.
Transformational Institute works closely with organisations to contextualise training to suite their specific training and recruiting needs. This program can also include particular organisational policies, procedures and training for company group bookings as requested.

Government funding is available through our Smart and Skilled and Skilling for Recovery contract for eligible participants.
