Full Qualification Course List

 This course is designed for individuals seeking a career within the disability and support worker industry, whether in clients' homes or community-based environments.

Our students develop the skills needed to empower people with disabilities to lead their lives at full potential and achieve their goals. This course will help our students to take those skills to the next level in a leadership role. 

At the completion of this course you will be able to promote a person-centered approach, work without direct supervision, and have the skills to supervise a small team.

Ideal for:

Those looking to gain employment as a disability or aged care support worker, behavioural support officer, personal care assistant, employee coordinator (disability), supervisor or local area coordinator.

Upon successful completion of all assessment activities, learners will receive a nationally recognised qualification -

Certificate IV in Disability - CHC43115

Learn to follow an individualised plan to provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. This may be in a in a community and/or residential setting.

At the completion of this course you will have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person- centered support.

Ideal for:

Those looking to gain employment as a  community care, house or support worker, care assistant, support worker, disability service officer.

This course is designed for individuals that are looking to pursue a career in the aged care industry, whether in residential, home, or community-based environments.

Our students gain an in-depth working knowledge of aged care, develop their leadership abilities, and gain on-the-job experience.

Ideal for:

Those looking to gain employment as Community Program Coordinator, Residential Care Worker, Support Worker (Community Services), Care Supervisor, Accommodation Support Worker, Personal Care Worker, Personal Caregiver, Assistant Hostel Supervisor, Personal Care Assistant, Residential Care Officer, Day Activity Worker, Care Team Leader. 

 

Upon successful completion learners will receive a nationally recognised qualification -

Certificate IV in Ageing Support - CHCH43015.

Traineeships

We have traineeship opportunities available to provide employment and training in disability and aged care industries.

Traineeships are available to anyone of working age. Trainees can be school-leavers, people re-entering the workforce or workers simply wishing to change careers.

Please note there are citizenship and residency status requirements that need to be met.
