Barista Skills & Food Safety

Learn the art of crafting delicious espresso-based coffees! This hands-on training guides you through every step - from grinding beans and extracting smooth espresso shots to steaming milk and crafting popular café-style beverages. You'll build the skills and confidence needed to consistently prepare and serve high-quality coffee.

Also, gain essential knowledge to uphold food safety and protect customer health. This training equips you with practical skills in personal hygiene, safe food handling, effective cleaning and sanitising procedures, and hazard identification - key competencies for maintaining a safe and compliant food service environment.

Please note: Students must wear enclosed shoes or boots.

Learning Methods

Prior to class, complete the theory virtually at your own pace with interactive modules and multiple-choice assessments. Then, join us face-to-face to master espresso, milk texturing, machine use - plus key skills in hygiene, food handling, cleaning, and hazard identification.
