HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting – Home Based – CORPORATE ONLY

Enjoy the flexibility of home-based first aid training with ERS, designed to help businesses efficiently train staff wherever they are located. Employees can complete their training from home or the workplace without the need to attend a classroom or external training venue, reducing downtime and simplifying workforce compliance.

After enrolment, begin the online theory component immediately through interactive learning modules and assessments in the Learner Portal. Each learner will receive an ERS training kit delivered to your chosen address anywhere in Australia within 5–10 business days, containing everything required to complete the practical assessment.

Simply follow the instructions, record the required practical tasks, and submit the assessment for review.

The training kit is yours to keep. If it is no longer required, it can be returned free of charge using our post-back option. Returned ERS manikins are donated through the Global Citizen Project to support training in communities in need.

The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends refreshing CPR skills annually.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

• HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
• HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Learning Methods

Complete the online theory at your own pace, then use your ERS training kit to demonstrate the required CPR, AED and first aid skills from home or work, including skills relevant to responding to first aid situations in an education and care setting.

Record and submit your practical assessment for review, with no face-to-face training session required.
