About this Course
This virtual course is designed for healthcare, aged care, and disability support workers to develop the skills needed to safely assist clients with medication administration. Learners explore different medication types, their effects, and the legal and ethical responsibilities involved.
The course focuses on accurate documentation, monitoring client responses, and addressing issues promptly to support client well-being and safety. Students also learn to work within organisational and regulatory guidelines, support clients in self-administering medication, and handle contingencies responsibly.
Delivered virtually, this program offers flexible, self-paced learning while ensuring participants gain the knowledge and confidence to assist clients safely and effectively.
Students enrolled in this course have a maximum of eight (8) weeks from their enrolment date to complete all required components. If the course is not completed within this timeframe, the enrolment will be cancelled, and the student will be required to re-enrol and pay any applicable fees.
